Temporary and Permanent Hair Removal Techniques

Temporary Methods for Hair Removal:

Nobody likes surplus hairs. There are several ways to remove unwanted hairs successfully. Many of them are temporary while others are permanent.
Temporary Methods for Hair Removal:

Waxing:
It is done by spreading a wax combination in a thin layer on the skin. A cloth or paper band is then pressed on the top and then pulled forcefully in the opposite direction of hair growth. After many waxing, hair stops growing at the part.

Shaving:
Shaving is one of the most common ways of hair removal but it should not be the preferred option as shaving will cause your skin to become coarse and dry.

Tweezing:
It is another temporary hair removal method usually used for hormonal hairs. It is used to vehemently pull hair in tweezing. Tweezing can be a painful practice and if done carelessly can do damage to your skin.

Depilatories:
An alkaline substance by the name of depilatory is spread on the skin in this method. The depilatory melts any hair with which it comes into contact. It can be dangerous as it should be handled with immense care.

Permanent Methods for Hair Removal:

Electrolysis:
This is a widely used method for removing hairs permanently. Electrology is the modern name of this method, as electrolysis per se is a little-used direct-current technique which requires 3 to 5 minutes per hair and is now done only with multiple-needle machines.
Laser:
The laser light damages follicles function and impairs its ability to produce hair. Although no laser has found to be permanently removing hairs, scientists are actively working on it for permanent hair removal. In time laser hair removal will become one of the most famous forms of hair removal.

Waxing:
With its capability to eventually remove hairs permanently, it gets a place under the permanent methods for hair removal as well plus it is the most popular as well.
