Relaxation Procedure for Hair Care


Autogenic Relaxation (self-induced relaxation). Lie comfortably in a quiet room. Close your eyes and breathe in and out. Focus on the breathing and try to relax at the same time. Say to yourself, "my head is getting heavier and warmer" and feel your head getting heavy and warm.

Move on to the left shoulder, then the left arm and the fingers. Do the same with the other side and then the legs. The sequence is not important. When you have finished, breathe in and out for a few minutes and then open your eyes. Repeat the procedure until you feel relaxed.

Tension_relaxation Exercise. Take a deep breath, tense the muscles of your body for a few seconds and then suddenly relax, breathing out at the same time. Do this several times.

Deep Breathing. Breathe deeply from the abdomen. This increases oxygen to the brain and relaxes the nerves.

Imagery. View pictures in your mind that will relax you. Try other forms of exercise too, like taiji and meditation.
